FARMINGTON — Jenna is the week’s featured creature at the Franklin County Animal Shelter.

She is a long-haired gray and white cat that has had difficulties in finding her forever home, staff said. She has been placed twice and has been brought back for different reasons. Jenna is a sweetheart of a cat that loves to get attention.

Staff said she is a little finicky when it comes to changes and that is the reason she was brought back the first time. There was a life-style switch in her household and she started taking her frustrations out on the other cat. The second time was because of the owner’s health.

Jenna would love to be the only cat in the household so she can soak up all the love and affection she can get. Jenna is the queen of the household and would love to be treated as such, said staff.

Anyone who could give Jenna the love she deserves is invited to stop by. Jenna’s fee has been sponsored so she is free for adoption.

New dogs at the shelter include a shepherd mix from Starks, a lab mix from Starks and a lab mix from Livermore Fall.
