FARMINGTON — The Franklin County Children’s Task Force will offer a Nurturing Fathers Program, which will meet weekly from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays, Sept. 14 to Nov. 2.
The program is for dads, expectant dads, step-dads, divorced dads, granddads and good dads who want to be great dads. Participants will learn about fathering from A to Z and discuss ideas on parenting with other men in the eight-week program.
It is a free program, and childcare will be provided but must be requested at least two weeks prior to class beginning. The class is sponsored by the Franklin County Children’s Task Force, with funding provided through a grant from the Maine Community Foundation.
