Jack and Pat Zinke
AUBURN — Jack and Pat Zinke of Auburn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 8. They were married Aug. 8, 1959.
Mrs. Zinke is the daughter of the late Bateston and Louise Stoddard of Auburn and the granddaughter of the late Sam and Lilla Stoddard of Lewiston.
They currently spend summers at Taylor Pond. Mrs. Zinke is a gourmet cook and Mr. Zinke volunteers for various projects with Maine Fish and Wildlife and the Androscoggin Land Trust.
They spend winters in Florida, where “Capt. Jack” is a charter fishing captain and Mrs. Zinke is actively involved in local garden and gourmet cooking clubs.
They celebrated at Taylor Pond with their daughter, Jill, their son, J.R., and his wife, Carmen, all visiting from Illinois for the occasion.
