OXFORD — The Uptown Cruizahs Car Club will host the club’s first car show on Sunday, Aug. 2, at New Balance factory store on Route 26, rain or shine.

Registration will be held from 7:30 to 11 a.m., and the cost is $5 a car. Participant voting will take place until noon and the awards ceremony will be held at 2 p.m.

There will be 23 class, including antique auto. There will also be two Mustang and Corvette classes (early and late); a Crosley class and Chevelle and Camaro classes along with three truck classes, a class for rat rods (up to ’48) and one for
street rods (up to ’48.) There will also be a Club’s Choice Award.

The show will also include music by Red Wing, door prizes all day long, food, street rod inspections, 50/50 raffle and fun for the family. 

Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
