NORWAY — The First Universalist Church of Norway is announcing an open meeting for parents who are interested in having their children, ages 5 through 12, explore religion and spirituality from a progressive point of view appreciative of contributions from all of the world’s religious traditions.
The Unitarian Universalist Association, of which the Norway church is a member, offers a life span series of age and developmentally appropriate curricula that encourages religious and spiritual exploration for groups of children, youth, young adults and older adults.
The meeting, to be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, will give parents a chance to talk about their educational goals for their children, see examples of the curricula and materials used and meet some of the adults who will be working with their children.
Parents of all religious traditions, or none, are invited to participate.
