DIXFIELD — The descendants of James C. and Mary Ellen Crawford Lloyd gathered for the annual family reunion at the Mountain View Campground on July 25. A potluck luncheon was served and numerous craft and other items, donated by family members, were raffled off for the treasury. The 50/50 raffle was won by Jennifer O’Neil of Salem, Mass.
There were 45 in attendance, traveling from various areas around the state and from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Kentucky. The oldest members present were William and Dorothy Lloyd Morse, 85, of Mexico, and the youngest was Nathan Reynolds, 2, son of PJ Reynolds of Lynn, Mass.
Traveling the furthest distance were Scott and Becky Burns of Russellville, Ky. It was inadvertently omitted the Shannon White traveled the furthest in 2008, coming from Murray, Utah.
Scrapbooks, old photographs, reminiscing and memories were shared. The next reunion will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010, at the home of Kathy and Dave Therriault.
