Boy Scouts of Troop 196 in Oxford put up winter fire wood for the Sisters of the Community of the Resurrection in Otisfield. Troop 196 is chartered with the Anderson-Staples Post 112, American Legion. Legionnaire Joe Bernard, scouting representative for the post, escorted the Scouts. After stacking wood in the barn and splitting kindling wood, the Sisters invited the youths to share the noon meal. The Sisters explained the mission of the Community of the Resurrection and what it is to be a Franciscan Sister. A tour of the Prayer Chapel and the working farm followed. From left are Matt Witham, Ben Dill, Joshua Dill and Sister Rosalie.
