LEWISTON — Ninety of 130 new jobs Affiliated Computer Services expected to create starting in June will be filled in the next three days, according to a statement from the company.
The company will hire the 90 to fill positions as customer care agents, managers, supervisors and trainers, to “accommodate increased business activity,” the release stated.
The call center announced in June that it would add 130 new positions at its Lewiston operation. About 60 have been hired so far. Applicants may apply online at www.acs-inc.com or in person at 40 East Ave.
ACS employs approximately 350 people in Maine, with about 320 in Lewiston. According to the company, it has more than 34,000 agents in 142 centers around the world, who handle more than a million customer interactions a day in 20 languages.
