Rally Day

PARIS — Sunday School Rally Day will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St., South Paris. Rally Day marks the beginning of a new Sunday School year and children of all ages are invited to take part. Children are asked to come to church for the beginning of the service. No preregistration is needed.

Sunday also marks the return of the choir from their summer break and after the service, all are invited to a church picnic. For more information, contact the church office at 743-2437.

Church concert

NORWAY — “Fishers of Men” will be in concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, at the Norway Church of the Nazarene, 10 Grove St. All are welcome. The concert is free, but there will be a love offering, with proceeds donated to charity. For more information, call the church at 743-8172.

Bridge results

NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Sept. 4 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street, when a 4 and 1/2 table Howell movement was played.

Finishing first in Flight A and Flight B were Linda Smith and Jack Neal; second in Flight A and Flight B, Priscilla Rooth and Hazel Glazier.

Finishing third in Flight A were Jim Dickens and Pete Cummings; Third in Flight B were Suzanne Andrews and Richard Worthington.
