AUBURN — Drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes this week as road crews complete a major paving project on Minot Avenue that will create significant travel delays.

The Auburn Police Department issued a statement that road work will begin at noon Wednesday and is expected to end Thursday at 7 p.m. The project includes the section of Minot Avenue from Court Street to High Street. Minot Avenue will remain open to traffic, but there will be lane closures reducing traffic to one lane.
