FARMINGTON — The Chesterville Heritage Society invites all Franklin County fair-goers to visit its exhibit in the Exhibition Hall Annex at this year’s Farmington Fair, Sunday to Saturday, Sept. 20 to 26. There, the society will take its turn among area historical societies, one of which is invited each year by fair organizers to display its town’s past.
Along with exhibiting various historical items and papers related to the history of Chesterville, they will have limited-edition woven throw blankets featuring historic images from Chesterville for sale. Other items for sale will include the popular history scrapbook, “Chesterville Memories,” a Chesterville hunting cap and a Chesterville coffee mug.
The exhibit will be open and staffed from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. throughout the fair week. Volunteers are still needed for staffing, and any items related to Chesterville history are still welcome. For more information, call Cindy at 778-3078.
