LIVERMORE FALLS — A Livermore Falls man was seriously hurt early Sunday after a motorcycle he was driving struck a utility pole on Church Street, also known as Route 133.

Jesse Hiscock, 27, was heading north on the road about 1:20 a.m. when the accident occurred, Livermore Falls police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Monday.

Hiscock received injuries to his right leg and left wrist, he said.

When NorthStar Emergency Medical Services ambulance crew arrived, personnel requested a medical helicopter to respond but it was grounded due to the weather, Steward said.

An ambulance took him to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Due to the severity of the injuries, Steward said, Maine State Police were called in to reconstruct the accident, which remains under investigation.

The 2008 Honda CBR 100 that Hiscock was riding was owned by Ashley Chabot of Livermore Falls, Steward said.
