Sun Media Group, which includes the Sun Journal, Employment Times, HR Times, Celsius Technology Group, Myjobwave.com and 11 weekly newspapers in Oxford, Cumberland, Franklin and Penobscot counties, continues to work hard to find opportunities that allow us to increase our presence in many Maine communities.

Sun Media Group is the parent organization of the Sun Journal, and 11 weekly newspapers around Southern, Central and Western Maine. The weekly papers include the Forecaster group in Southern Maine, the Norway Advertiser Democrat, Rumford Falls Times, Bethel Citizen, Franklin County Journal, Livermore Falls Advertiser, the Rangeley Highlander and the Penobscot Times in Old Town. Sun Media Group also operates a web based content management and news distribution company called Celsius Technologies, various news web sites, Sun Press, a commercial printing operation and now The Employment Times, HR Times and MyJobWave.com.

One of the primary objectives of Sun Media Group is to combine the long history and tradition of each business that we are so proud of, with the future image of a multi-media organization. Each company and all of their corresponding web sites, is a unique part of the Sun Media Group. Each one offers customers various options for receiving local news and information as well as providing a platform for advertising messages to the community.

Although we are now a part of a diversified group of businesses, not much has actually changed and it has been mostly ‘business as usual’ as we continue to inform, challenge and reflect the communities we serve.
