Conferral

RUMFORD — The Daughters of Isabella, Timothy Circle 504, will hold a
conferral for all members at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Parish of the
Holy Savior Hall.

A corporate communion with a Mass at 4 p.m. will be held after the initiation. A potluck supper will follow. The Knights of Columbus will assist in setting up the buffet.

All members of the Daughters of Isabella are invited to partake in the ceremony.

Library program

MEXICO — As part of the Mexico Public Library’s “Wonderful Wednesdays”
monthly programs for kids ages 2 to 10, the library will host “Apple-Paloosa!” from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30. The event will be held at the Calvin
Lyons Hall, next door to the library, in the lower level of the Town Hall building. There will be stories,
games, craft, goodies to eat and all things apple related. For more

Book fair

RUMFORD — The Scholastic Book Fair will be coming to Holy Savior School
(formally St. Athanasius and St. John’s School) from Tuesday, Sept. 29
through Saturday, Oct. 3. All are invited to
attend and check out the collection of books for all ages from 9 a.m.
to 3 p.m., weekdays. The book fair will be held downstairs at the
school, follow the
arrows.
