Volunteers from L.L. Bean participated in the 2009 United Way Day of Caring at Advocates for Children. They spent most of the day preparing craft items for the upcoming Holiday Festival for Children. The festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn. Entertainment will feature Rick Charette, yo-yo champ Brandon Baines and live wildlife critters from Spark’s Ark. The Youth Fiddlers with Greg Boardman will also perform.
