SOUTH PARIS — Oxford Hills Women Connect, a networking organization that provides a safe environment for women to
share their products and services with other women while giving them
the same opportunity, will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Kings Hill Inn. No dues will be collected, but $5 each meeting will be collected for refreshments.

Prostrate screening

BRIDGTON — The Bridgton Hospital Specialty Clinics will offer a free prostrate screening clinic for men from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23. Urologist Mark Hirschhorn, M.D. will provide the
screenings.

The American Cancer Society and the Main Urologic Association both
recommend an annual screening between the ages of 50 and 74. Men with a
family history of prostrate cancer should consider an annual screening
after the age of 40.

The clinic is intended for men who are under-insured or uninsured.
Preregistration for an appointment is requested as space is limited. Call 647-6020 to reserve an appointment.

Parkinson’s disease

NORWAY — The MaineHealth Learning Resource Center at Stephens
Memorial Hospital will offer a “Managing Parkinson’s Disease” program from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Harper Conference Center in the Ripley Medical Building
next to Stephens Memorial Hospital.

Edward Drasby, DO, and Lillian Scenna, LSW, of the American
Parkinson’s Disease Association Information and Referral Center will present a seminar for those who want to learn more about Parkinson’s
disease and the latest available treatments, resources and research.

Registration is preferred. There is no charge for the presentation.

Scout sampler meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the

Lobster bake

  NAPLES — The Lake Region High School Class of 2010 will host a lobster bake at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, in
the high school cafeteria. The event will be held prior to the last home football
game, which begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $15 and include one lobster, baked
potato, cole slaw, drink and dessert. Kid’s meals are $6 and include one
hotdog or burger, chips, drink and dessert. Tickets can be purchased by e-mailing [email protected] or
by contacting any member of the senior class.
