Marcel ‘Mike’ F. Guay
1930 – 2009
LISBON FALLS — Marcel “Mike” F. Guay, 79, of 4 North St., Lisbon Falls died Sunday, Oct. 18, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Lewiston, June 16, 1930, the son of George and Aldea (Girard) Guay. He attended schools in Lewiston and later served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked for many years at White Rock Distilleries in Lewiston until his retirement at the age of 62.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and a lifelong member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Anita L. (Francoeur) of Lisbon Falls, whom he married on June 23, 1951; his sons, Bruce M. and his wife, Deborah, of Poland, Mark B. of Virginia Beach, Va., and Scott L. and his fiancé, Marsha Merryman, of Oakland; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Angela, Ryan, Nicole, Brittany and Sierra Guay; and his great-grandson, Ian Guay.
He was predeceased by his son, Jeff A. in 2005; his brother, Roger; and his sisters, Georgette and Cecile.
