Timothy G. Arsenault, son of Daniel and Jill Arsenault of Auburn, was recently promoted to the rank of Major in the United States Air Force. Arsenault is originally from Auburn and enlisted in the Air Force in 1988, spending 12 years as an Inflight Refueling Specialist aboard the KC-135 before commissioning as a Second Lieutenant and spending 8 years as an International Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Combat Crew Member. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies with Air Force ROTC Detachment 538 at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y. Arsenault currently resides in Chili, N.Y., with his wife Diana and son Christopher.
