AUBURN — The 25th annual Grand Auction will be held St. Dominic Regional High School on Saturday, Nov. 14.

A silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a buffet dinner provided by Fishbones restaurant. The live auction begins at 7:30 p.m. Cost of the event is $20 per person. This is an adults-only event, with a cash bar available during the evening.

The big auction item this year is two tickets to the Boston College vs. Notre Dame game to be played Oct. 2, 2010, in Boston. The item includes round trip limousine transportation. 

Bids on game tickets will be taken at the live auction, and bids may be placed by phone in advance. To place an advance bid, call Cathy McDonald at 212-8227. 

Other auction items include a day trip aboard a lobster boat, an African safari, a trip to San Diego that includes a $1,000 personal shopping trip to Bloomingdale’s, gift certificates for local restaurants and theaters, household items, electronics and more.

A Thomas Mosher New Gloucester rocker, valued at $1,800, will be raffled. Tickets are $10 each, and only 200 will be sold.

All proceeds from this event will support sports and extracurricular activities at St. Dom’s school.
