Rumford crime bulletin
Incident Report Statistics:
Between 6 a.m. Nov.15 and 6.m. Nov. 22, patrol officers responded to 68 complaints.
Arrests/Summonses:
On Nov. 15 — 1:30 p.m., Troy Lake, 40, of Rumford was charged by Ptl. Lawrence Winson with operating after suspension on Hancock Street. Lake posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
On Nov. 18 — 4:58 p.m., Daniel Flagg, 33, of Rumford, was charged by Ptl. Robert Dennis Ryder on an Androscoggin County warrant for unpaid fines for theft on Cumberland Street. Flagg was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
On Nov. 20 — 3:50 p.m., Raymond Martin, 19, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on River Street with violating conditions of release. Martin is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Jan. 5.
On Nov. 20 — 11:29 p.m., Sara Martin, 18, of Mexico was charged by Cpl. Douglas Maifeld on Lincoln Avenue with operating under the influence. Martin is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
On Nov. 22 — 1:30 a.m., Jerry Pelletier, 57, of Mexico was charged by Ptl. Dennis Ryder on Hancock Street with operating under the influence. Pelletier posted $400 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Feb. 2.
Assault:
On Nov. 20 — 8:16 a.m., Mexico resident reported being assaulted at a Rumford establishment the night before. She didn’t wish to press charges but wanted the incident documented.
Criminal Mischief:
On Nov. 19 — 1:05 p.m., Rumford business reported a broken light on Prospect Avenue. The case is under investigation.
Theft:
On Nov. 17 — 12:31 p.m., Rumford business reported subject using three checks on a closed account. The case is under investigation.
On Nov. 20 — 10:25 a.m., Congress Street resident reported theft of medication. The case is under investigation.
Wanted:
Curtis Moody, 41, of Rumford is wanted for failure to appear for aggravated operating after suspension (habitual offender) and speeding.
