Denise Richard’s fourth grade class at Rumford Elementary School recently participated in the Tar Wars program sponsored by the River Valley Healthy Communities and Swift River Health Care. Dr. Lisa McAllister, middle row, right, a doctor with the Central Maine Medical Center Rural Track Residency Program, presented the tobacco-free education program for kids from the American Academy of Family Physicians to help these students make the choice to live a tobacco-free life.
