LEWISTON — La Rencontre will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at The Franco-American Heritage Center, Cedar Street.

A meal will be followed by a chorus of singers representing local groups. Patrons are encouraged to speak only French during the two-hour meal and program. The meal will feature a boiled dinner with ham, red bliss potatoes, carrots, turnip, string beans, beverages and cake for dessert. The cost of the meal is $7 each person.

Entertainment will be provided by Nel Meservier and Friends who include vocalists from many local groups. Entertainers from Just Us will include Sue Rouleau, Madeleine Leblanc, Anita Deschesnes, Norm Laplante, Bert Dutil and Connie Lambert. Mickey Meservier and Nel Meservier will represent the C’est Si Bon band. Diane Meservier of Present Company will also join the chorus of singers.
