Chinese auction

OXFORD — The Resistance Ministries will have their third annual “Toys Galore” Chinese auction on Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Oxford Recreation Building, Main Street. The auction will feature hundreds of brand new items including toys, electronic items and clothing.

The auction will include a dollar table, 50/50 raffle, grab bags and food and drink for sale. The doors will open at 12:30 p.m. to purchase and place tickets and the drawing will start at 2 p.m. Tickets at the door are $20 for 100. Advance tickets are available for $30 for 300. Lodge meeting

CANTON — Whitney Lodge 167 A.F. and A.M. will meet with election of officers at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3. The meeting will be preceded by a casserole supper at 6:30 p.m.. All Master Masons are welcome.

Family story time

PARIS — The Paris Public Library will have family story time from 4 to 5 p.m. Mondays, Dec. 7, 14 and 21.
All ages are welcome. Participants may listen to seasonal stories, play the dreidel game for chocolate kisses and self select crafts.

 A winter story time will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28, for all ages. There will be a seasonal story and participants can make a wooden snowman from a paint stirrer, white paint and other decorative objects.

Christmas sale

NORWAY — Stone-Smart Unit 82 American Legion Auxiliary will hold a
Christmas sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdaym Dec. 5, at the post home, Main
Street.
