Outlook: The Raiders just missed the postseason last year and now have a new coach in Morong, who coached Morse for 20-plus years. Sabine was an all-conference player, averaging 15 points and 10 rebounds. Morong says she’s as talented as any player he’s coached. The Raiders are young and have over 15 points per game to replace with the graduation of Hayden and Donald. Look for Oak Hill to have an up-tempo style and use its athleticism. The Raiders also hope to be a deep team.
Coach’s comment: “KVAC B is an incredibly tough league, especially with defending state champions Waterville and Leavitt and Nokomis dropping down to B. Being in my first year with Oak Hill, I am cautiously optimistic about the upcoming seaosn.” – Coach Tom Morong.
