WILTON — The Franklin County Democrats welcome community members to attend their annual holiday party from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, at the home of Irv Faunce and Jan Collins, at the Wilton Blueberry Farm, 83 McLaughlin Road, East Wilton.
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with State Senate President Libby Mitchell of Vassalboro, one of the Democratic candidates for governor. Maine Attorney General Janet Mills of Farmington will also be in attendance.
Those attending are asked to bring potluck food items to share.
Future events on the Franklin County Democrats’ calendar include a meeting at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, location to be announced, at which gubernatorial candidate Rosa Scarcelli will speak.
On Sunday, Jan. 31, each town will hold its biennial caucus to elect delegates to the State Democratic Convention and to make plans for upcoming elections. Details will be announced.
