LISBON — Winter activities have begun at Beaver Park. The cross-country ski trails are groomed and ready for use. Snowshoers are welcome to use the trails, but are asked to stay to the side of the groomed ski track. The trails are wide enough to accommodate both activities.
Dogs should be left at home if using the trails; they are welcome on the park road, but not on the trails.
The Thursday walks will continue from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m., as a cross-country ski or snowshoe activity, according to the weather. The park user fees are $1 each person, each day for residents of Lisbon and $3 each person, each day for nonresidents.
Yearly family passes are also available. To purchase a family pass or for more information, contact Verla Brooks, park ranger, at 353-9075.
