Rosemarie Leonard, center, and her daughter Adrienne Detlefsen of Norway were presented with a plaque by Norway selectmen’s Chairman Bruce Cook commemorating the life of her husband, Henry Grant “Bud” Leonard. He was World War II veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge with the U.S. Army’s 80th Division and was taken prisoner and wounded several times. Leonard held various jobs during his life, including mayor, airline pilot, bridge commissioner and bus driver. He died two years ago.
