LEWISTON — Now in its third year, and officially an annual event, The Glenlivet Band Holiday Reunion will take place at Fast Breaks beginning at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26.
Fronted by Lewiston natives Barry Hynes, who now lives in Bradenton Beach, Fla., and John Rabassa of the groups Veggies By Day and Broad Street Band, The Glenlivet Band entertained local music fans for years with an off-beat mix of classic rock and rhythm and blues.
During the band’s heyday in the ’90s and early 2000s, many musicians were members or otherwise participated in the band’s evolution. Besides Hynes on guitar and vocals and Rabassa on guitar, saxophone and vocals, Saturday’s performance will feature longtime members Todd Corey on bass, Randy Donovan on drums and Lindsey Montana on keys. Former members and other special guests associated with the band’s history will also play at various times throughout the evening.
Fast Breaks is at 1465 Lisbon St. There is no cover charge. Food and beverages will be available all evening. For information, call 782-3305.
