Charges
* Alfred Gravel, 22, of Casco, on charges of possession of a Schedule W drug, illegal possession of marijuana, and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, 9:20 p.m. Dec. 18 on Bridge Street. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail and will be arraigned on Feb. 2 in Rumford District Court.
* Alexandria Morton, 39, Rumford, on a warrant charging failure to appear on a charge of operating after suspension, 11:48 p.m. Dec. 14 on High Street. She was released on $300 cash bail. A court date has yet to be scheduled.
Accidents
A 1998 Dodge pickup driven by Christopher Bertrand, 41, of Otisfield slid on ice on South Rumford Road and collided with an abutment of the Androscoggin River bridge at 6 a.m., Dec. 15. Bertrand wasn’t injured, but the truck sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.
