DIXFIELD — The Neighborly Senior Citizens met on Dec. 16 at the Dixfield Legion with 54 present.
President Connie Tutlis was welcomed back. She opened the meeting and read several selections followed by the flag salute and singing of “God Bless America.” She gave a report of trips planned for 2010. Several members paid dues for 2010.
Celebrating December birthdays were Leland Merchant, Ethel Gordon, Bob Gardner and Raylene Richard. Celebrating December anniversaries were Eleanor and Bucky Dunham, 39 years, and Faye and Joe Roy, 52 years. Winners of the drawings were Beverly Childs and Helen Chugas. Entertainment was furnished by Silver and Gold.
The next nickle beano will be on Wednesday, Jan. 6. Doors will open at noon with beano being played from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. All are welcome.
The next meeting will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, followed by a potluck dinner and playing of nickle beano, which will be open to the public, with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189.
