William A. Carignan

A Mass of Christian Burial for William A. “Chic” Carignan was celebrated Thursday, Dec. 31, at Parish of the Holy Savior. His brother, the Rev. Raymond “Moots” Carignan, was the principal celebrant, and the Rev. Alfred Jacques concelebrated. George Gionet was the altar server. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “You Are Mine,” “Fly Like A Bird” and “J’irai la Voir un Jour.”

Readings were done by his nephew, William “Bizz” Carignan, and his great-niece, Kate Flaherty. The eulogy was given by his nephew, Dr. Peter Carignan. Pallbearers were Dr. Peter Carignan, Paul Carignan, Kerry Gill, Dennis Flaherty, Bob Convery and Art Gardiner. Spring interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Dixfield.
