GREENE — The Lewiston High School Class of 1949 held its 60th reunion at the Sedgley Place with 50 in attendance, including 32 classmates.

Reunion Chairman Frank O’Connoll had charge of the program, which included a moment of silence prior to dinner in remembrance of deceased alumni. 

Ron Legueux was winner of a beadspread with “LHS Class of 1949” weaved into it, manufactured by American Heritage and donated by Class President Fred Lebel, owner/operator of the company. 

Other prizes were booklets on “Old School America,” donated by Kay Jacqmin. Winners were Anne Kalwell, Dolores (Charpentier) Brooks, Claire Filliettaz, Pauline (Morin) Fournier and Robert Hunter.

Other members of the Planning Committee were Armande (Brault) Case, Janice (Pinette) Levesque, Claire Fillattaz, Monique Levesque, Anne Kalwell, Nancy (Schutt) Plaisted and Mary (Maguire) Riley.
