LEWISTON — The Kora Shriners of Lewiston have announced the winners of the fourth annual FEZtival of Trees.

The Most Popular Tree went to Edward Little High School, as voted by the general public. The Most Beautiful Tree went to Champoux Insurance, as voted by the Kora Widows Club. The Rainbow Girls of Lewiston Assembly 14 awarded the Most Original Tree to the Kora Clown Unit and the Most Popular Tree Sponsored by a Kora Shrine unit or club went to the Kora Crazy Cops.

The organization had their best year ever, according to event coordinator Randy Murray. “Our attendance was somewhere around 7,500 for the week, and it was just an awesome week,” he said.

This year’s event had 43 decorated trees that were either donated by local businesses or Kora Shrine units or clubs.

The winners of all of the decorated trees were drawn at random at the close of the FEZtival and the names of the winners can be found on the Kora Web site at www.korashriners.org/feztivaloftrees/.

The other raffle winners were: 50/50 winner, Rolande Blais; chain saw, Josh Adams; and lottery tree, Betty McCrillis.

Next year’s FEZtival will open on Saturday, Nov. 20. Those interested in sponsoring a tree or having a craft table may call the Kora office at 782-6831.
