Cecile M. St. Pierre
1918 – 2010

AUBURN – Cecile M. St. Pierre, 91, of 591 Main St., Lewiston, went to rest with the Lord, surrounded by her family on Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Lewiston, June 22, 1918, the daughter of the late Samuel and Alice Bergeron Bilodeau. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was married in 1940, to Leon St. Pierre who predeceased her May 9, 1992. She was employed for 35 years as a fancy stitcher at the former Clark Shoe Co. She was a member of Holy Family Church, the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality, AARP, Covenant 50, and Holy Cross Seniors. Cecile will be remembered for loving to spend time with her family and playing cards with her friends. She enjoyed traveling, line-dancing, reading, painting, knitting and crocheting. She was a wonderful dessert and candy maker.

Cecile will be missed by a daughter, Joanne Paquette and husband, Normand, of Lewiston; a son, Robert St. Pierre and wife, Jean, of Maryville; a daughter-in-law, Louise St. Pierre of Lewiston; granddaughter, Christine Paquette; granddaughter, Cheryl Murphy and husband, Brian; grandson, Marc Paquette and wife, Denise; grandson, Michael St. Pierre and wife, Kim; grandson, Steven St. Pierre and wife, Jennifer; granddaughter, Annette Bradbury and husband, Scott; grandson, David St. Pierre and wife, Kim; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Gosselin of Florida.
