LEWISTON — U.S. Rep. Mike Michaud, small business owners and representatives from local programs that support entrepreneurs will be available for round table discussions on the theme of “Preparing for Recovery Challenges” on Jan. 23. at USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College, 51 Westminster St.

Sign-in begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9 a.m., concluding at noon.

Michaud will offer the welcome, followed by introductions of the resource providers and round table discussions including: specialists from U.S. SBA, USDA Rural Development, and Finance Authority of Maine; business counselors from Maine small business centers; women’s business centers; SCORE; and Maine Centers for Women, Work and Community. Also included are tax planning with Internal Revenue Service and government contracting with Maine PTAC.

There will also be a panel discussion following, led by Mark Delisle, state director of the Maine Small Business Development Centers.
