LEWISTON — The next St. Mary’s Take Charge! community health screening will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Take Charge! is a low cost, comprehensive screening program that helps participants learn about their health and how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular heart disease, stroke and diabetes and improve overall well-being.
The screening takes approximately 15 minutes each person and will include a lipid profile, measuring total cholesterol and good
cholesterol; height and weight measurements; blood pressure; physical activity level; and body mass index.
A health professional will review and discuss the results, and will offer health education accordingly. All results are strictly confidential.
