AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library will launch its “Prime Time” initiative with a film series slated to begin Feb. 2.
A classic 1950s musical will be featured each Tuesday in February: “An American in Paris” on Feb. 2, “Singin’ in the Rain” on Feb. 9, “Brigadoon” on Feb. 16, and “Gigi” on Feb. 23.
The films will be introduced by reference librarian Steve Bouchard, who will provide historical context. They will be shown at 2 p.m. in the library’s community room.
Admission is 50 cents. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available.
The library’s “Prime Time” initiative provides materials, services and programs of interest to adults ages 50 and up.
