Dispensary numbers will be tied to the registered patient base, but it is the business owner’s responsibility to have a business plan that works.

Who would invest $5,000 in a restaurant given the statistical data that indicates more fail than succeed? In the business world, $5,000 is not a lot of money.

Lastly, the law was passed and it cannot be placed on hold out of fear or ignorance. The task force has worked hard to provide a system that will work for Maine.

Frightening the populace with comparisons to methadone clinics is shameful, considering the absolute lack of issues associated with them.

Why not try educating yourself and the public with factual and accurate information?
