Noel Thibodeau, Matt Blais, Kathleen Nation and Sam Crawford appear in a scene from Monmouth Community Players’ “Love, Sex and the IRS,” a wild comedy with twists of fate, sight gags, mistaken identities and hilarious lines. Leslie is desperately in love with his roommate Jon’s fiancée. Before Leslie can deal with this dilemma, Jon informs him that they are both are in big trouble: the IRS is coming to audit them. Jon reveals that he has been filing tax returns for them as a married couple, taking advantage of the sexual ambiguity of Leslie’s name. The show continues at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Jan. 29-30, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors. Call 933-2229.
