Judith L. Paladino
1941 – 2010
AUBURN — Judith L. Paladino, 68, a resident of Williams Street, Auburn died unexpectedly Tuesday, Jan. 26, at her residence with her husband, Robert by her side.
She was born in Gardiner, March 14, 1941, the daughter of Carroll and Stella (Purinton) Greenleaf.
She grew up in Gardiner, and moved  to Auburn at a young age, where she established a Lewiston Evening Journal paper route. It was on that paper route, she met her future husband, Robert B. Paladino I and would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on Feb. 11 of this year.
Being a homemaker most of her life, she was most proud of raising eight children.
Her hobbies included playing cards on weekends with family and friends, and was an accomplished acoustic guitar player.
Holidays were always special for her and her husband Robert, and would always look forward to family gatherings.
Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Paladino I of Auburn; three sons, Daniel Paladino and his wife, JoAnn, of Turner, Joel Paladino and his companion, Rose Santos, of Bedford, Mass., and Robert B. Paladino II of Auburn; four daughters, Cathy Nolasco and her husband, Tom, of Reston, Va., Cynthia Paladino of Auburn, Susan Dostie and her fiancé, Thom McCullough, of Alna and Julie Castro and her husband, James, of Bellevue, Neb.; one brother, Bruce Greenleaf of New Hampshire; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son, Steven Paladino June 9, 2001.
