Bruce McDaniel
1937 – 2010
FARMINGTON — Bruce McDaniel, 72, of East Livermore, died early Friday, Jan. 29, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 29, 1937, in Livermore, the son of Chester and Nina (Goding) McDaniel. He attended and graduated from Livermore Falls schools and went on to marry Roberta Goding on March 22, 1958. She died on Jan. 29, 2005.
He worked as a self-employed carpenter virtually all of his working adult life. He enjoyed working with wood and going for long rides, whether it be to the coast or the mountains.
He is survived by three daughters, Connie Beckler and her husband, David, of Livermore, Bonnie Whiting and her husband, Jeff, of North Yarmouth and Shirley McNear and her husband, Stephen, of Livermore; six grandchildren, Andrew Beckler, Robert Beckler, Lydia Whiting, Mitchell Whiting, Brent McNear and Mathew McNear; three great-grandchildren, Owen Beckler, Logan Beckler and Cassidy McNear; three sisters, Anita Hilligoss of Norway, Christine Timberlake of Livermore and Beverly Capen of Livermore; a special friend, Beverly Anderson of Wayne.
He was predeceased by four brothers, George, Shirley, Norwood and Blaine McDaniel.
