Jeanne d’Arc and
Normand Lemay
LEWISTON — Normand and Jeanne d’Arc Lemay of Lewiston recently celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary at Mac’s Grill in Auburn. Mr. Lemay and the former Jeanne d’Arc Chouinard were married on Nov. 27, 1954, at St. Mary’s Church, with the Rev. Ralph Corbeil officiating.
The couple has three children, Lucille Hall and husband, Andrew, Paul Lemay and wife, Rita, and Marcel Lemay and wife, Cathy. They also have six grandchildren, Jeanne Hall, Travis Lemay, Kevin Lemay, Angel Lemay, Lynzee Parker and Justin Lemay.
Mrs. Lemay is retired after working at several textile and shoe manufacturing companies, retiring from d’Youville Pavilion.
Mr. Lemay is retired from Bates Manufacturing Co., working at Maine Mills Laboratory, Hill Division, and retiring from the Bates Division. He still works part-time at Shaw’s in Lewiston.
