Legion meeting
LISBON FALLS — The Nelson-Conley American Legion Post 66 will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Slovak Hall upstairs meeting room on Avery Street. All members, prospective members and active-duty personnel are invited to attend.
Society to meet
BOWDOIN — Members of the Bowdoin Historical Society will meet at 2
p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7, at the FHC Building. Reuben Wheeler of the Bowdoin Historic
Preservation Committee will be the guest speaker. Members are
requested to bring an item for the refreshment table. The public is
welcome as are those desiring to become members.
Women’s series
LEWISTON — The Maine Women’s Fund will host a discussion about how women are stepping up,
standing out and staying in leadership roles from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, at the YWCA, 130 East Ave. The brown bag lunch event is free and open to the
