Library workshop

NORWAY — Teen Services at the Norway Memorial Library will offer a two-day art workshop during February vacation. The workshop will meet from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 16 and 18, and is open to teens in grades seven through 12.

Jessica Person, local art teacher, will show teens how to draw sequential art and use a dream or fantasy to make a story. The finished product will be an accordion comic book. Preregistration is required. The
deadline to register is Thursday, Feb. 11.

Bridge results

NORWAY — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met on Jan. 29 in the Fare Share Building, Main Street. A 3-table Howell movement was played.

Finishing first in flight A were Bob Kirchherr and Mike True; second, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings. Tied for first and second in flight B were Linda Smith and Jack Neal with Priscilla Rooth and Carol Curran.

The next game will be played at

AARP meeting

SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet on Monday, Feb. 8, at the First Congregational Church, East Main Street. A luncheon of sweet and sour pork with bread pudding for dessert will be served at noon. The cost is $6.50 and reservations are required by calling Ruth at 744-9069 by noon Friday, Feb. 5.

The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with speaker Denise Whitley from the Heart Association. Whitley will give information on healthy eating, heart disease and will teach a class on heart bingo.
