GORHAM – LAYHL Jr. Maineiacs mite extended play hockey team tied the Gorham Huskies 4-4 in their first game of the season.

After falling behind 3-1 early in the game, the Jr. Maineiacs rallied and earned a hard fought tie at USM Ice Arena. Owen Cox led the way with two goals, while Caden Smith and Ben Cassidy also scored a goal apiece. Providing assists were Smith (2), Cassidy and Deven Hannan. Jacob Smith and Joey Lake shared the duties in net.

The team is made up of players from each of the five house teams in the LAYHL organization.
