PHILLIPS — The 12th annual Penny Sale Auction to benefit the Phillips Public Library is now underway at the library on Main Street.
New this year will be a coat, handbag and hat sale. The sale will take place Wednesday to Saturday, Feb. 3 to 6, during open library hours. Also on sale through Sunday, March 7, will be more than 150 donated books. The books will be on the main floor of the library, which is handicapped accessible.
On Sunday, Feb. 28, the library will have the second annual indoor yard sale. Donations are being accepted and quality items may be left at the library during open hours.
Arrangements can be made to have items picked up by calling Winona at
639-4296 or Nancy at 639-3717.
Tickets are also on sale now for the more than 132 items already marked. The
drawing will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 7. Ticket holders need not to be present to
win.
The library is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.Wednesdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursdays and Fridays and from
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
