Robert Lebel
1928 – 2010
ANDERSON, S.C. — Robert Lebel, 81, of 113 Bronco Drive, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the AnMed Health Medical Center.
He was born in Lewiston, July 25, 1928, the son of the late Willie Lebel and Marie Couturier Lebel. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He moved to Anderson, S.C., in 1994, and retired from Kroger Bakery. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed his morning walks at the Anderson Mall.
He is survived by his children, Roberta Miville of Anderson, S.C., Roland Lebel of Auburn, Rachel Ross of Jamestown, N.C., and Richard Lebel of Lewiston; two sisters, Ann Gravel of Leeds and Lorette Sharby of Pittsfield, Mass.; a sister-in-law, Eva Lebel of Auburn; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and his beloved friend, Mary Kelly of Iva, S.C.
