The worst thing in life to see is a country having to deal with a natural disaster, but it warms my heart to see the swarm of countries rushing in to help.

The aftermath in Haiti is hard to process or deal with, but what makes me proud to be an American is the fact that there are all those great agencies and organizations and military units that step in to help a country, such as Haiti, get back on its feet after a disaster.

I know some people would rather help less, with our economy the way it is, but if such people want the rest of us to sit there and watch a country destroy itself then that’s their problem.

I’m glad there are still a few true Americans left, and that we are not stuck up, never getting involved with international crises.

It just proves that the U.S. is still a true leading country.
