River Valley Area — The 10 town annual Easter Egg Hunt, hosted by the River Valley Chamber and the Mexico Fire Department will take place on April 3 throughout the towns of Byron, Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, Hanover, Mexico, Peru, Roxbury and Rumford. Children ages 7-12 years of age may participate in this event. Clues for the hidden eggs will be read through local radio station WOXO 100.7FM starting at 6 a.m. and concluding at 9 a.m. When an egg is found, you will have until noon to bring it to the Mexico Fire Department and receive your Easter basket.

Children 6 years of age and younger will have their Easter Egg Hunt at the Mexico Fire Station starting at 9 a.m.

One egg per child please so that others may participate in this wonderful event also.

If you would like to sponsor an egg for $10 and put a smile on a child’s face, you can mail your donation to River Valley Chamber. Stop by the Chamber Office at 10 Bridge St. (The Information Center) and drop off your donation in an envelope into our mail box.
