Albert C. Marston

1929 – 2010

AUBURN — Albert C. Marston, 80, of Poland died Monday, Feb. 22, at the Hospice House.

He was born in New Gloucester, May 6, 1929, the son of Millard and Della Hackett Marston. He attended school in New Gloucester and graduated from Edward Little High School in Auburn. He had been employed as a truckdriver for Mobil Oil in Boston, retiring in 1986.

He enjoyed gardening, bird feeding, scratch tickets, fishing and playing cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Cumberland Lodge 12 AF & AM. He married Doris Hueston on Sept. 13, 1947, she passed away on June 9, 2002.

He is survived by his two daughters, Sandra Harper and her husband, Lee, of New Gloucester and Bonnie Marshall and her husband, Rich, of Norway; a brother, Edmond Marston of New Gloucester; a sister, Coky Wills of New Gloucester; three grandchildren, Christopher Harper, Curtis Cox and Lisa Cox; two stepgrandchildren, Nicole Marshall and Amber Marshall; two great-grandchildren, Austin Cox and Kaine Piawlock; and his special friend, Irene Lavoie of Gray.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Peaco and Winnifred Hoyt.
